Titan Quest II is shaping up to be a worthy successor to the 2006 original and THQ Nordic’s latest deep dive trailer gives us the clearest look yet at how the sequel is modernizing mythological action RPG combat. From expanded class systems to reworked enemy behavior, the trailer is packed with gameplay footage and new details.
And while the game doesn’t have a release date yet, we do know one thing for sure: Titan Quest II has now opted into GeForce NOW, meaning it’s already lined up for cloud support via Steam when it launches.
Refining a cult classic
The trailer digs into how Grimlore Games is evolving the Titan Quest formula with a more grounded combat system, more deliberate animations, and smarter enemies that won’t just stand there waiting to be hit. The dual-mastery system returns, letting players combine two class archetypes into one build — with dozens of ability synergies to explore.
Unlike the original, Titan Quest II is being built in Unreal Engine 5, bringing more dynamic environments, improved physics, and atmospheric lighting to its vision of ancient Greece.
The full series on GeForce NOW?
The original Titan Quest — including its Anniversary Edition — is already playable on GeForce NOW. With the sequel now opted in on Steam, it looks increasingly likely that both games will be streamable through NVIDIA’s cloud platform, possibly even side-by-side at launch.
