Summer Game Fest 2025 is here, and with over 60 partners and a two-hour showcase hosted by Geoff Keighley, it’s expected to be one of the biggest events of the year. While fans across all platforms will be watching for surprise reveals and world premieres, we’re focusing on what it means for GeForce NOW. From confirmed partners like Ubisoft and Techland to games like Arc Raiders and Dying Light: The Beast, several titles have strong cloud potential. Here’s what to watch for from a GFN perspective.

Confirmed and Likely Games Coming to GeForce NOW

While surprises always dominate the conversation, we already know several big games are set to appear during the Summer Game Fest main showcase—and a good number of them are confirmed for GeForce NOW.

Splitgate 2

The free-to-play arena shooter is officially launching out of beta during the show, and the developers have confirmed a major surprise reveal is coming as part of the event. Splitgate 2 is already playable on GeForce NOW via Steam, and the full version is expected to be available at launch.

Mafia: The Old Country

2K’s prequel to the Mafia series has already been revealed in a full trailer and is confirmed to appear at SGF. Even better, NVIDIA has confirmed it’s coming to GeForce NOW, though Steam opt-in is still pending. Expect gameplay and a possible release date.

Arc Raiders

This stylish co-op extraction shooter from Embark Studios has been confirmed for SGF and is already on the GeForce NOW roadmap. With its beta phase now behind it, we’re hoping for a release date and more gameplay footage during the show.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

This dark fantasy Soulslike from 505 Games is opted into GeForce NOW and confirmed for the show. A new trailer is expected, and with its July release on the horizon, SGF could be the big final push.

Dying Light: The Beast

Techland’s zombie parkour sequel is back with a new reveal confirmed for the show. The original is available on GFN, and with Techland’s close ties to NVIDIA, we’re optimistic the new game could follow suit.

Atomic Heart

A new update or content reveal is expected during SGF, and since Atomic Heart is already on GeForce NOW, any new DLC, expansions, sequel are likely to be supported too.

Rumored Games to Watch

Summer Game Fest thrives on surprises, and a few titles floating around the rumor mill have either strong GFN potential or cloud interest worth flagging.

Hollow Knight: Silksong

It’s officially opted into GeForce NOW, and recent SteamDB activity has fans convinced something is brewing. While a shadow drop isn’t guaranteed, if Silksong appears at SGF, it’s likely to launch on GFN the same day or shortly after.

007: First Light

IO Interactive already revealed the cinematic trailer. A brief gameplay tease could show up during SGF to push interest toward the game. I do think that is game comes day 1,

Resident Evil 9

Capcom is due for something big, and Resident Evil 9 remains the strongest candidate. With nearly every RE game already available on GFN, there’s a strong chance any future entry will follow. If announced, expect it to eventually hit the cloud.

Borderlands 4

With Borderlands 1, 2, and 3 officially coming to GeForce NOW, this is one to keep an eye on. A teaser during SGF would make sense—and if it happens, we’d expect GFN support as part of the pipeline.

What to Watch For

With over 60 partners involved and two hours of announcements, Summer Game Fest is expected to deliver a steady stream of world premieres, gameplay reveals, and a few “available now” surprises. For GeForce NOW players, the showcase continues a broader trend more major PC releases are launching day one or soon after on NVIDIA’s platform.

Several of today’s confirmed and rumored titles are either opted in, already available, or confirmed for GFN, including Dune: Awakening, Splitgate 2, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, Mafia: The Old Country, and Hollow Knight: Silksong. This kind of lineup shows that GFN is becoming a common destination for day-one access, even among high-profile games.

Xbox may also make a brief appearance with a teaser or smaller announcement, using Keighley’s stage as a springboard into their main showcase over the weekend. That strategy has worked well in the past hint now, reveal big later.

We’ll be watching live and covering the biggest GFN-relevant reveals as they happen — from confirmed titles getting surprise drops to newly announced games that opt in immediately after the show. Stay tuned for rapid follow-ups on GameModeNow.com.
