Legacy: Steel & Sorcery has just unleashed its biggest early access update yet. The arrival of the Wizard class, three new maps, a fresh social hub, and a free weekend trial from May 15 to 19 give both new and returning players a perfect reason to dive into Mithrigarde.
Now available on Steam and playable through GeForce NOW, the game continues to evolve with every update.
Emberstaff and Spell Scrolls: The Wizard Arrives
The brand new Wizard class makes its debut alongside this update. Armed with the Emberstaff, Wizards can cast ranged spells, rewind time, and unlock new powers by finding hidden Spell Scrolls throughout the world.
This marks the first real shake-up in class variety, adding more depth to the game’s combat and strategy. Wizards can queue solo or team up with Warriors and Rogues in trios, combining their ranged power with frontline muscle or sneaky flanks.
Three New Maps Expand the World
The lands of Mithrigarde have grown. Players can now explore three brand new locations:
Dawnhammer Crypt
A once-holy sanctuary turned haunted dungeon. Now crawling with the undead and cursed relics, it’s a dangerous crawl through shadowed tombs and corrupted glory.
Greenwood Night
A twisted forest cloaked in darkness. Bandits, ghosts, and the restless dead lurk beneath the trees. You’ll want to bring a lantern. Or a fast exit plan.
Goldbrook
This new social hub is where players can hang out between dungeon runs. Duel with others, hit the scarecrow training dummies, or simply relax and trade tales. It’s your campfire between battles.
Free Weekend and Discount Incoming
From May 15 to 19, Legacy: Steel & Sorcery is free to play on Steam. A 25 percent discount follows from May 16 to 22, making this an ideal time to explore the game’s new content and try out the Wizard class.
