Rebellion is expanding the world of Atomfall with Wicked Isle, a major story and gameplay update launching on June 3. This new expansion introduces Midsummer Island, a mysterious off-shore zone packed with new enemies, weapons, skills, and story paths.
Players can travel to the island by speaking to a boatkeeper in Wyndham Village. Once there, they’ll find an eerie landscape warped by radiation, with higher infection levels and unusual factions to contend with. From pirate raiders to infected druids, danger lurks around every corner.
Weapons, Skills, and Survival Tools
New weapons include the heavy-hitting Blunderbuss, a classic cutlass, sharp daggers, an upgraded bow, and the strange Beekeeper’s Staff. Alongside this expanded arsenal, players will also discover new skills that enhance survival and exploration. The updated metal detector can uncover additional hidden loot caches, offering more reasons to dig through the ruins.
Leads and Endings
Wicked Isle introduces new Leads that unravel more of the game’s lore. Some of these storylines also connect back to the main Atomfall campaign, opening new possibilities for alternate endings. These additions give returning players plenty to uncover while offering fresh surprises for newcomers.
Pricing and Where to Get It
The expansion is available as part of the Deluxe Edition and Deluxe Upgrade Pack, or can be purchased separately for £14.99, €19.99, or $19.99. Xbox Game Pass subscribers receive a 10 percent discount.
Atomfall’s Impact
Atomfall has already reached over 2.5 million players since launch. Its mix of survival mechanics, exploration, and folk horror storytelling has earned praise for originality and atmosphere. Built around a fictionalised version of the Windscale nuclear disaster, the game places players in a haunting version of postwar Britain filled with secrets, strangeness, and hard choices. Wicked Isle builds on that world, expanding its depth and giving fans even more to explore.
