Ubisoft has announced a live-action movie based on Riders Republic. No, you didn’t misread that. The chaotic, stunt-filled extreme sports game is headed to the big screen, produced by Ubisoft Film & Television alongside Gaumont. It’ll be set in the Alps and promises thrills, humor, and some wild action sequences.
It’s a surprising pick. Riders Republic has racked up over 10 million players, but it still feels like one of Ubisoft’s more unexpected franchises to bring to film.
If the movie ends up sparking fresh interest, it’s easy to jump into the game right now. Riders Republic is available on GeForce NOW through Ubisoft Connect and Ubisoft+, so you can dive in without downloading a thing.

The latest season, which launched back in March, added a drifting pocket car, a park creator, and a handful of new live events. If you haven’t checked in for a while, now’s a good time to drop back in and see what’s new.
Whether the movie works or not, at least playing the game is straightforward.
