The haunting journey beneath the North Sea continues with a brand new paid expansion for Still Wakes the Deep. Titled Siren’s Rest, the story DLC is out now and fully playable on GeForce NOW via Steam and Xbox (PC), with support confirmed at launch.
This release adds to a packed week of GFN action, and if you’ve been following our coverage, you’ll know this isn’t the only big narrative update hitting the platform. Exploring the wreck of the Beira D
Set more than ten years after the original game, Siren’s Rest follows Mhairi and her deep-sea diving team as they investigate the submerged Beira D oil rig. Players will uncover fresh secrets about the disaster that unfolded in the base game using tools like a crowbar, cutting torch, and camera while navigating wreckage and facing the unknown that still stirs in the abyss.
This expansion introduces a full new voice cast and a standalone storyline, giving fans more of the eerie atmosphere and grounded realism that made the original so compelling. You’ll hear new characters brought to life by Lois Chimimba (Doctor Who), Lorn Macdonald (Bridgerton), and David Menkin (Alan Wake 2, Final Fantasy XVI), with a script co-written by returning writer Emma Beeby.
Return to the depths
Siren’s Rest isn’t just a bonus chapter – it’s a full-on descent into psychological and environmental horror that recontextualizes the events of the original. As Mhairi, you’ll face the wreck as a literal tomb beneath the sea, unraveling what truly happened on that fateful day.
