Lost Rift, the upcoming multiplayer survival shooter from People Can Fly, has launched its demo for Steam Next Fest, and it looks promising. This build emphasizes PvE exploration, base building, crafting, and a full-scale PvEvP expedition, all backed by a brand-new trailer premiered during the PC Gaming Show.
A taste of island survival and extraction
Set on a series of dynamic islands, the demo lets players:
- Build up their own island base with modular crafting systems
- Survive solo or in 5-player co-op PvE missions
- Venture into PvPvE expedition zones full of AI threats and other players
- Deal with variable weather effects like storms and fires
- Enjoy improved visuals and stability thanks to community feedback from May’s playtest
While some assets are still in greybox form, the demo delivers a solid preview of what’s to come.
