Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Moon battle in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel featuring a Vault Hunter shooting alien creatures

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel takes the looter-shooter formula to the moon, quite literally. Developed by 2K Australia in collaboration with Gearbox Software, this entry explores the rise of Handsome Jack and the events that led to Borderlands 2, giving players a chance to fight with—and for—the future villain of the series.

Set on Pandora’s moon, The Pre-Sequel introduces low-gravity gunfights, oxygen management, and new elemental weapons like cryo and laser gear. Choose from four new playable characters (including Claptrap) and blast through a full campaign of chaotic missions, bizarre humor, and lunar mayhem—all while unlocking skill trees and loot-filled chests in true Borderlands fashion.
