Borderlands 2 is a loot-driven first-person shooter with RPG elements, developed by Gearbox Software. Set on the chaotic world of Pandora, players choose from multiple Vault Hunters, each with unique abilities, and battle their way through waves of enemies and bizarre bosses in a quest to stop the tyrannical Handsome Jack.

The game combines over-the-top gunplay with humor, co-op gameplay, and endless weapon variety. With strong post-launch support, including multiple expansions and DLC packs, Borderlands 2 became a defining entry in the looter-shooter genre and remains one of the most beloved co-op FPS experiences available.
