Vessels of Decay is a retro-inspired action-adventure game developed by Simon Jakobsson and Aurora Punks, and published by Headup. Set in a post-apocalyptic Scandinavia, players follow siblings Freja and Mud as they navigate an overgrown world where ancient creatures from myth and folklore now reign. The game features a dynamic battle system, unique finisher animations, and epic multi-stage boss encounters. With handcrafted pixel art environments and a melancholic narrative, Vessels of Decay offers a Scandinavian take on classic action-adventure gameplay.
