WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers Soars with New Trailer Ahead of July Launch

Shadowy figure rises in front of the moon as warrior stands ready

An intense new look at the soulslike action RPG steeped in Chinese mythology.

WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers returned to the spotlight during Summer Game Fest 2025 with a brand-new trailer, giving fans another taste of its haunting, folklore-inspired world and slick, soulslike combat. Developed by Leenzee Games and published by 505 Games, the action RPG is officially set to launch on July 24 for PC and consoles and it’s already opted into GeForce NOW, with a Game Pass release confirmed on day one.

A Dark Fantasy Set in the Fall of the Ming Dynasty

Set during the dying days of the Ming Dynasty, WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers pits players against both historical corruption and supernatural horrors. The trailer dives deeper into the game’s core fantasy—where plague-stricken lands, monstrous foes, and fractured factions intertwine with a mysterious illness that transforms the infected into grotesque beasts.

The protagonist, Wuchang, navigates through exquisitely detailed environments drawn from Chinese mythology and folklore, battling otherworldly enemies with melee weapons, mystical powers, and a highly refined combat system.

Game Pass Confirmed, GFN Expected

WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers is coming day one to Game Pass, and it’s already opted into GeForce NOW, meaning a cloud-enabled release is very likely at or near launch. With both PC storefront support and Xbox backing, this is one of those titles that makes cloud gaming a no-brainer for fans of the genre.
