Enzo Favara’s story begins with blood, betrayal, and the brutal birth of organized crime.
Ahead of its August 8 launch, Mafia: The Old Country made a dramatic appearance at Summer Game Fest with a new cinematic trailer titled “Loyalty is Everything.” The trailer gives us a deeper look at the life of protagonist Enzo Favara, a young man climbing the ranks of the Torrisi crime family in early 20th-century Sicily. The tone is raw and personal, offering glimpses of the violence, loyalty, and vendettas that define his world.
The new trailer puts family front and center—both the kind you’re born into and the kind you bleed for. The story teases betrayal, extortion, and the heavy price of trust as Favara’s journey unfolds across a backdrop of rural Sicilian hardship and ambition.
A Narrative-Driven Crime Saga at a Budget Price
Mafia: The Old Country is being pitched as a lean, tightly focused experience rather than a massive open-world epic. Developer Hangar 13 has designed the game as a linear highly-polished narrative experience, echoing the tone and structure of the original Mafia.
This story-first approach also means a lower price point. The standard edition will be available for $50, while the $60 Deluxe Edition adds in extra cosmetics—think period-authentic guns, outfits, and accessories to help Enzo look sharp while doing dirty work.
