The battle for Arrakis begins early for Deluxe and Ultimate Edition players

Funcom has unveiled the official Launch Trailer for Dune: Awakening as the massive multiplayer survival game enters advanced access for Deluxe and Ultimate Edition players. The full release arrives on June 10, but those who’ve pre-purchased the higher editions can begin exploring the deadly deserts of Arrakis right now.

Alongside the trailer drop, the full official Dune: Awakening soundtrack is now available to stream across Spotify, Apple, and Amazon platforms, featuring work by award-winning composer Knut Avenstroup Haugen. The music was recorded at the prestigious AIR Lyndhurst studio in London, and two bonus tracks from the Story and Launch Trailers are included. You can listen now via this official link.

“I wanted the score to reflect the depth and mystery of the lore, as well as the haunting majesty of Arrakis,” said Haugen. “To contribute to the legacy of Dune in this way has been a true adventure.”

A Haunting New Vision of Dune

Dune: Awakening rewrites the lore in a parallel timeline where Paul Atreides was never born. Players must carve their own path through a deadly open world shaped by sandworms, storms, and shifting alliances. You’ll rise from survivor to powerful faction leader, battling to control the spice and influence the Landsraad.
