A gritty new blend of RPG, immersive sim, and Celtic myth is on the way. Perun Creative has dropped a brand-new gameplay trailer for Kromlech, showcasing a vertical, hostile world filled with tactical combat, folklore-fueled monsters, and moody, post-apocalyptic landscapes.
The trailer gives us a closer look at combat, exploration, and Cronach—the grim-faced warrior you’ll guide across the crumbling highlands of Norgar. And for GeForce NOW fans, there’s an added bonus. Kromlech has officially opted into NVIDIA’s cloud platform, meaning it could be playable on GFN when it launches. Here’s what that means.
Trailer Highlights Brutal Combat and Gorgeous Decay
At the heart of Kromlech is a unique combat system known as RTL—short for its focus on hitting exposed or unarmored areas. Players won’t be swinging wildly here. Every enemy presents a new tactical challenge, and battles get progressively more demanding the deeper you go.
From dark caves and ruined shrines to towering redwoods and ancient battlegrounds, the world of Kromlech is handcrafted and packed with variety. The trailer teases undead-infested dungeons, random events, and boss-like threats that emerge without warning.
Roguelite Roots and RPG Depth
The gameplay trailer also hints at Kromlech’s RPG systems—gear customization, war paint, mystical relics, and a reputation system that evolves based on your decisions. With branching questlines and reactive events, this is more than just a linear adventure.
The addition of rogue-lite elements suggests each run may play out differently, with new surprises, builds, and story developments depending on how you explore and engage with the world.
