One year on from its Early Access debut, Songs of Silence has quietly passed a significant milestone. Now fully released and available on Steam, the game has sold over 100,000 units worldwide. To celebrate, developer Chimera Entertainment is giving away a free anniversary hero frame — available for a limited time as a digital DLC. The free content is already live on Steam.
Community Support and a Steady Climb
The team at Chimera says the game’s growth wasn’t driven by marketing hype, but by word of mouth and consistent community feedback. In a press release, Executive Producer Hendrik Lesser thanked players for their support and described the one-year journey as a testament to staying focused on quality and player involvement.
To mark the occasion, Chimera also released a short “Thank You” video reflecting on the game’s development and the role the community played in shaping it.
What Is Songs of Silence?
Songs of Silence is a story-focused fantasy strategy game that combines turn-based kingdom management with real-time tactical battles. It features a distinct Art Nouveau-inspired aesthetic and a focus on player choice, army management, and world exploration.
Players lead factions through a collapsing world consumed by a force known as the Silence, making strategic decisions on the battlefield and in diplomacy. In addition to the main campaign, the game includes standalone scenarios and fast-paced skirmish modes, with both solo and multiplayer options.
It’s available now for PC via Steam, with console versions also on the market.
