Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure is now available in its full 1.0 release, launching today on Steam and fully supported on GeForce NOW. Developed by Massive Miniteam and published by HandyGames, the game blends automation, base defense, and real-time strategy within procedurally generated fantasy worlds powered by an army of tiny helpers called Sparks.
This 1.0 release marks the culmination of the game’s development and introduces new features, additional biomes, expanded logic systems, and full world customization. It also includes modding support on PC and various accessibility options.
Full Release Features
Oddsparks removes the usual conveyor belt systems often seen in automation games. Instead, it relies on Sparks — AI-driven creatures that carry resources, operate machines, build infrastructure, and defend the player’s base. Players create logistical systems by managing Spark traffic, using tools like throwers, pathing networks, and Spark-powered trains.
The 1.0 version introduces five biomes with unique environments, creatures, and hazards. Some zones focus on resource gathering and production, while others introduce base defense elements, where players must protect their setup from waves of slimy enemies. A variety of decorative options, workshop expansions, and dynamic logic elements provide flexibility in building out custom systems.
Additional gameplay systems include:
- Spark-based trains and elevated tracks
- A botany system to grow exotic plants in greenhouses
- Temperature-based automation mechanics
- Spark loadouts and preset builds
- Procedural world generation
- Customizable difficulty and sandbox settings
Accessibility and Settings
The game includes a number of features aimed at customization and accessibility. Players can rebind controls, toggle screen shake, and use the Misophonia Mode to limit certain audio triggers. The World Settings menu enables players to tailor the experience with options for skipping early progression, altering enemy behavior, enabling terraforming tools, and more.
Modding support is included for Steam users, and the PC version also supports co-op for up to four players.
